The task Ben Yehuda undertook was impossible. He had a vision of a return to speaking Hebrew as in those days, in the time of the Bible. But the world has progressed since thousands of years, and the reality of the Bible no longer matched the reality of Ben Yehuda. Eliezer was not afraid of the size of the responsibility he took on his shoulders and went to work. During his work he invented almost 300 (!) words, including the word "sock"! He renewed the words by using words from related languages and words from the Bible.

The story of Eliezer Ben Yehuda is a story about entrepreneurship and responsibility, it is a story about a man who persisted, and about a bridge that connects thousands of years of heritage. The dream, which he did not get to see come true, is happening today right around us and the Hebrew language is a living and kicking language.
